xoChat Privacy Policy

As an IRC client, xoChat allows you to communicate with other people around the world via IRC servers. In order to establish a connection to an IRC server, you must provide a nickname or alias, along with a full name. However, there is no requirement for this information to reflect your true identity and, as such, you are strongly encouraged to not provide your actual personal information when using xoChat.

xoChat will only store your information locally on your device and it will only be used to connect to the IRC servers that you choose. Your information will not be stored by or transferred to xOmicron or any third parties. Note, however, that each IRC server is independently operated and may have its own privacy policy. Please read the privacy policy of your chosen IRC server prior to connecting. If this is not possible, you should assume that all transmitted information may be stored by the server.
